OUR STORY
For Samantha Smith, the mission began at home.
As a mother, protecting health through safer products was non-negotiable. But she quickly realized that workplaces, schools, and healthcare facilities weren’t being held to the same standard.
For Richard Smith, the turning point came from experience.
After more than 15 years in executive leadership within the cleaning industry, he saw how deeply the status quo had become accepted — where convenience often replaced responsibility, and profit outweighed people.
Leaving that path was a risk.
But continuing those practices felt like a bigger one.
In 2021, Optimal Cleaning Solutions was founded to create a better standard.
