For Richard Smith, the turning point came from experience.
After more than 15 years in executive leadership within the cleaning industry, he saw an opportunity to raise the standard for how commercial cleaning could support people, facilities, and organizations.
For Samantha Smith, the mission began at home.
As a mother, protecting health through safer product choices was personal. But she quickly realized that the same level of care people often expect at home was not always reflected in the workplaces, schools, healthcare facilities, and professional environments people spend time in every day.
So we asked a simple question:
Why should people expect a lower standard at work than they do at home?
In 2021, Optimal Cleaning Solutions was founded to create a better standard.
